Gingerbread Houses

One of the most fun and messy adventures we do in preschool on a yearly basis is Gingerbread Houses.
It is always a fun way for the kids to express their creativity and even emotional state.

Doing things hands on, in this big of a scale, is always risky, and messy, but the kids always learn so much when they work with their hands.

Thanksgiving Feasts

We always have such a great time at our Thanksgiving Feast!  This year both our Fun Friday kids and Preschool kids had a chance to celebrate with us.

We watch the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Special and then we eat his feast consisting of: jelly beans, toast, popcorn and pretzels sticks.

Fire Safety

We had a great time with our friendly firemen who came to visit and teach us all about fire safety at home and school.

They showed us what it looks like when they put their gear on - and they even let us try it on too!

We got to go inside a special building and where they taught us some important skills.

They talked to us about some dangers in our homes like the kitchen and even the medicine cabinet.

They taught us how to check if a door is safe by feeling it and crawl out of  a smokey building. We even practiced our escaping skills - with Miss Heather’s help - and crawled out of a window!

Thank you so much for your help keeping us safe here at preschool!
